Import a Bank Statement
Instead of typing in statement lines by hand, you can upload your bank statement as a PDF or image and let Biznsbook read it for you. This requires the Finance Management add-on.
Import a statement
- Go to Finance & Accounting → Bank statement import.
- Click New Import and upload a PDF or image (PNG or JPG). A file downloaded directly from online banking works better than a photo or scan.
- Wait for it to process — the file is read automatically and the bank is detected from the statement text, so you don't need to choose one yourself.
- Open Review once processing finishes. Fix any flagged rows and approve the transactions.
- Once every line is approved, the import is marked Completed and you can Export it as an Excel file.

:::info If an import fails Make sure you're uploading the full statement from your bank's website rather than a phone photo — poor scans and watermarks reduce accuracy. If it keeps failing, ask your administrator to check with support that your bank's statement layout is supported. :::
