Use Workflow Templates
Templates give you proven workflow patterns so you do not start from a blank definition. Using a template creates a copy for your company — edit it freely without changing the system original.
Browse and use a template
- Go to Automation → Templates.
- Browse by category (expense, CRM, inventory, labour, and others).
- Open a template that matches your goal.
- Choose Use template to create a new workflow for your company.
- Review the trigger, conditions, and actions — adjust emails, recipients, delays, and thresholds for your process.
- Save, then activate from Workflows when ready.
Patterns templates often cover
- Expense approval or submission email alerts
- Lead assignment or lead drip enrollment
- Low-stock or recall notifications
- Labour budget exceeded alerts
- Unclaimed open shift after a waiting period (delay plus a live re-check)
Exact names depend on what your administrator has seeded for the tenant.
Tips before you activate
| Check | Why |
|---|---|
| Trigger still matches your process | Event names differ by module version |
| Email templates exist | Send email steps need a working template |
| Drip sequence exists | Enroll actions need a Communication Center sequence |
| Conditions are not too strict | Over-filtering means the workflow never runs |
| Priority and cooldown | Avoid duplicate runs when several workflows match |
:::tip Customise, then activate Treat the template as a draft. Change recipients and delays first, run one real test event, then activate for production. :::
