Clothing in Biznsbook: An Overview
Clothing extends Inventory for apparel businesses: size/color/style variant matrices, fabric roll tracking by the meter, stitching and alteration workflows, and clothing-specific reporting — all built on the same items, stock, warehouses, and pricing as the rest of Biznsbook.
What you can do
- Create clothing products and generate a full variant matrix by size, color, and style
- Print variant barcodes and labels, or export them to CSV
- Organize your catalog with brands and seasonal collections
- Receive and track fabric rolls by the meter, with low-stock alerts
- Run stitching orders — measurements, tailor assignment, a status board, and a printable slip
- Handle alterations, standalone or linked to a delivered order
- Sell variants and fabric cuts through Sales, POS, and GRN wherever those modules are enabled
- Review clothing-specific reports and an alerts dashboard
Before you start
| You'll need | Why |
|---|---|
| Clothing module enabled | Clothing menu and screens are license-gated |
| Inventory module enabled | Clothing uses items, the stock ledger, warehouses, and costing |
| Manage inventory permission | Every clothing screen uses this — there's no separate clothing permission set |
| Sizes and colors set up | Needed for fast variant matrix creation |
| At least one warehouse | Fabric receiving and stock visibility depend on it |
| Tailors (optional) | Stitching and alteration tailor pickers use HRMS employees when that module is available |
New companies often already have global defaults — sizes like XS–XXL and common colors — copied in during onboarding.
