Clothing Permissions and Troubleshooting

Clothing keeps access simple — there's no separate clothing permission set today.

Permissions, in plain language

To...You need
See the Clothing menu at allThe Clothing module enabled for your company
Use any clothing screen — catalog, fabric, stitching, alterations, alerts, reportsManage inventory

If a clothing screen is missing, it's almost always one of these two things — check module activation first, then the Manage inventory permission on your role, under Settings → Users & roles.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see Clothing in the menu? Either your company doesn't have Clothing enabled, or your role lacks Manage inventory.

Can I use stitching without fabric rolls? Yes — a line can use customer-provided fabric instead of a shop roll.

Can one product have many barcodes? Yes. A clothing parent generates one variant — and one barcode — per size × color × style combination.

Why is Stock Valuation missing a PDF export? That report is Excel-only today. Every other clothing report supports both Excel and PDF.

Where do brands and collections live? Under Clothing → Catalog, and also as fields directly on the Inventory item form.
