Manage Alterations

Alterations track independently from stitching orders, even though a request often starts from one.

Create an alteration request

1. Go to Clothing → Alterations.
2. Create a request standalone, or start it from a delivered stitching order so the customer and garment context carries over.
3. Assign a tailor, an expected date, the details of what needs adjusting, and a charge.

Move it through status

Received → In Progress → Ready → Delivered
                                ↘ Cancelled

This is a separate status track from stitching orders — an alteration doesn't reopen or change the status of the original order it came from.
