Compose, Schedule, and Send Email
A typical email path is compose → draft or send or schedule → review delivery on Sent details.
Compose an email
- Go to Communication → Compose Email.
- Enter the subject and body in the rich editor.
- Add recipients (To / Cc / Bcc) with live search, or attach a mailing list.
- Attach files if needed.
- Choose an action:
- Send now — delivers immediately
- Save draft — continue later from Drafts
- Schedule — pick date and time; optionally set a recurring pattern (daily, weekly, or monthly)
Recipient search finds customers, suppliers, and employees who have email addresses on file.
After sending
- Open Communication → Sent.
- Open a message’s Details for per-recipient success or failure and delivery tracking (opens, clicks, bounces when webhooks are set up).
Statuses you may see on a composition: Draft, Scheduled, Sending, Sent, Partially Failed, or Failed.
Scheduled and recurring mail
Communication → Scheduled shows pending one-time and recurring jobs.
- Cancel moves the composition back to drafts.
- Background jobs pick up due sends on a recurring schedule — ask your administrator if scheduled mail sits past its send time.
Link to CRM audiences
When you nurture leads or follow up deals, keep contact emails current in CRM. Communication Center can also enroll people in drip sequences from Automation when a CRM event fires — see Run drip sequences.
