Configure CRM Settings
CRM → Settings is for sales admins. It shapes how every rep works — stages on the board, how leads are scored, and which reasons appear when a deal is lost.
Open Settings
- Sign in as a user with the Sales admin CRM role.
- Go to CRM → Settings.
- If you land on the dashboard instead, your role doesn't include configure rights — ask an administrator to update your access.

| CRM Permissions | Finer matrix of who can do what in CRM |
| Custom Fields | Extra fields on CRM records for your process |
Set up a pipeline
- Open Pipeline Manager.
- Create a pipeline (for example “Standard sales” or “Enterprise”).
- Add stages in the order reps should progress deals.
- Save. New deals can select this pipeline; the Pipeline Board columns follow these stages.
Lead scoring and lost reasons
- Under Lead Score Rules, define what increases or decreases a score (source, engagement, firm details, and so on as configured).
- Under Lost Reasons, add the choices you want in win/loss reporting — keep the list short enough that reps pick accurately.
- Changes apply going forward; scores recalculate in the background.
Territories, templates, and commissions
- Use Sales Territories so ownership and coverage match how your team sells.
- Maintain Email Templates for consistent outreach.
- Configure Commission Rules, then use the commissions board to approve and pay out closed-won deals.
:::warning Change stages carefully Renaming or removing stages affects open deals on the board. Agree the stage list with sales leadership before editing a live pipeline. :::
