Add Your Products

Your products are the catalog behind every purchase, sale, and stock movement. Set up your units and categories first if you haven't already.

1. Create a product

1. Go to Master Data → Products.
2. Click Add new product.
3. Enter a name, product code, and barcode (if you use one).
4. Choose its unit and product group.

2. Set pricing and stock behavior

1. Enter a purchase price and a sale price.
2. Set a reorder level if you want low-stock alerts.
3. Choose a tax group if your products are taxed differently by category.
4. Turn on expiry date or serial number tracking if your business needs it for this product.
5. Enter an opening quantity if you're starting with existing stock.

:::info Bulk-loading a large catalog Adding products one at a time works fine for a handful of items. If you have a large catalog to bring in, ask your admin about Data Import instead. :::
