Mark and Correct Attendance

Attendance records who worked, who was away, and whether the day was a holiday or weekend. Mark days promptly, then use corrections when times need fixing after the fact.

Mark daily attendance

  1. Go to HRMS → Daily Attendance.
  2. Pick the date, and optionally filter by department.
  3. Mark each employee: Present, Absent, Half day, Work from home, or On leave.
  4. Enter check-in, check-out, and overtime where needed.
  5. Use bulk actions when the screen lets you mark many rows at once.

The system also uses holiday and weekend statuses when calendars apply — for example after leave is approved against non-working days. Configure those under holidays and weekends.

Attendance history

Open the attendance records grid (from attendance links or the HRMS attendance route) and filter by date range, employee, or department. From a row you can open one employee’s month summary or month calendar.

Month calendar

The month calendar is a visual grid for one employee: present, absent, leave, WFH, holiday, and weekend days. Navigate between months. It is usually opened from attendance records or the employee attendance screen — not always as a top-level sidebar item.

Corrections

  1. Go to HRMS → Corrections.
  2. Submit corrected times with a reason.
  3. An approver sets Approved or Rejected.

Pending correction counts often appear on the HR dashboard so managers can clear the queue quickly.

:::tip Leave already covers the day If someone is on approved leave, prefer the leave workflow so balances and the leave calendar stay accurate. Daily attendance and leave work together — don’t mark conflicting statuses without checking policy. :::
