Set Up Toast POS Integration
Complete this checklist once before daily Toast operations. CSV-only tenants can skip API credentials and use Daily import / Import Sales instead.
Go-live checklist

| 1 | Company admin | Enable Inventory, Warehouse, Toast, Sales, and POS. Assign Toast and inventory permissions. |
| 2 | Warehouse → Warehouses | Create warehouses; mark the default receiving site. |
| 3 | Products or Import Items | Create items, or import Toast Item Details. Enable track expiry on perishables. |
| 4 | Toast Integration → Settings | Enter API credentials (optional for CSV-only). Enable integration, set default sales warehouse. Test Connection. Use Sync Now when you need an API pull. |
| 5 | Location mappings | Map Toast sites to Biznsbook warehouses. |
| 6 | Product mappings | Link Toast items to inventory; set conversion factors for pack/variant items. |
| 7 | Product Group Rules | Map categories to product groups; apply in bulk when ready. |
| 8 | Import Items | First CSV for opening stock (file up to 20 MB). Review verification tips after execute. |
| 9 | Daily import | After mappings look right, import Product Mix (sold + waste). |
