Inventory in Biznsbook: An Overview

Inventory is where Biznsbook tracks what you stock, where it sits, and what it's worth — from the moment goods arrive from a supplier through to the sale or return. It works closely with Purchase, Sales, POS, Warehouse Management, and Accounting.

What you can do

  • Maintain a product catalog with codes, prices, and stock levels
  • Receive goods from suppliers with a Goods Received Note (GRN)
  • Ship goods and return goods to suppliers when needed
  • Move stock between warehouses and correct quantities after a count or damage
  • Track batches, expiry dates, serial numbers, and recalls
  • See movement history, valuation, and health alerts like low stock and expiring batches

Stock updates automatically when you post receipts, sales, transfers, and adjustments. When Accounting is enabled, those movements can post to your general ledger.
