Organize Products with Category Rules
Product groups organize your catalog for reporting and filters. If you're setting up a large catalog, category rules let you assign groups in bulk instead of editing every product by hand.
Set up category rules
- Go to Products → Product Groups and click Manage category rules.
- Review the categories Biznsbook has discovered on your products.
- For each category, either map it to an existing product group, use Auto-Create Product Groups, or Add Rule for a new label.
- Click Apply to Products.
- Leave Only unassigned products checked to fill in empty groups only.
- Uncheck it to overwrite existing group assignments.
Viewing the rules page needs View inventory; mapping rules and running the bulk apply needs Manage inventory.
