Reduce Dead Stock

Slow-moving and dead stock ties up cash. This tool surfaces it and gives you a place to record what you're doing about it.

Review dead stock​

  1. Open Inventory Reports → Dead stock.
  2. Biznsbook lists items with low or no outbound movement, based on the thresholds set in your inventory setup, and can suggest an action — bundle it with a top seller, run a flash discount, liquidate, write off, return to the supplier, or hold.
  3. Open a row, choose your decision, and add notes if useful.

Saving a decision records your plan — it does not change stock on its own. Anyone with View inventory can open this screen; recording or updating a decision needs Manage inventory.

Action history​

Open Inventory Reports → Action History for a read-only log of every dead-stock decision your team has made. Filter by status — Unreviewed, Under Review, Actioned, Resolved, or Dismissed — and see the suggested action, your decision, notes, and the stock value at the time. Use Re-evaluate on any row to jump back to the Dead stock page for it.
