Packaging Permissions and Troubleshooting
If a menu is missing or an action is blocked, it's almost always one of two things: the module isn't enabled, or the user's role doesn't have the right permission. Your administrator manages both under Settings → Users & roles.

Packaging vs. EPR Packaging
These are two separate modules that share the same item record:

If you don't see the EPR toggle on an item, that's expected with only Packaging Management licensed — it needs the separate EPR Packaging module. Consult a compliance adviser for EPR scope and obligations; Biznsbook maintains the records and labels, not the legal interpretation.
Common issues

Frequently asked questions
Does cartonization automatically choose a carton? Yes — open a sale's Cartonization tab and click Run Cartonization, or turn on Auto-suggest on sale to have it run automatically. Only First Fit Decreasing is active today.
Does "Require cartonization for delivery" block my delivery notes? Yes, when enabled — delivery-note create and post need a linked sale invoice with Confirmed or Sealed cartonization.
What's "billable weight" on a carton? The greater of the carton's actual weight and its dimensional weight — carriers bill on whichever is higher.
Can I delete a sustainability snapshot? No — snapshots are append-only to protect the trend history. Use Recalculate Snapshot to replace a specific month instead.
How long is packaging data kept? Records are retained for 60 months. A retention scan warns before anything ages out and never deletes automatically.
