Before You Start with Payroll
Payroll appears in the top navigation once the module is licensed and
HR Management is active. What you can open and change still depends on
the payroll permissions your administrator assigns under Settings →
Users & roles.

| HR Management | Employee records, attendance, leave |
| Payroll | Payroll menu and processing screens |
| Company portal access | All payroll screens use company login |
| Accounting (recommended) | GL posting for accrual and bank payment |
| Active employees with a current salary | Employees without salary are listed as exclusions |
- HRMS — departments, designations, and employees
- Payroll — components → structures → employee salaries
- HRMS — daily attendance and leave policies (for deductions and
overtime)
- Payroll — settings (including tax if needed) → periods → runs
