Run Payroll Reports

Payroll reports help finance and HR confirm what was calculated, withheld, and recovered for a period.

Open the reports hub

Go to Payroll → Payroll reports. From there you can open:

Report	Shows
Summary register	Runs and totals filtered by period
Tax withheld	Per-employee tax amounts from calculated or posted runs
Loan recovery	Loan EMI recovered through payroll

You need report permission (or equivalent admin access) to open these screens.

Tips for useful reports

• Filter by the same period you just closed so register totals match the run you posted.
• Use Tax withheld after Calculate (or Post) to spot employees with unexpected zero or high tax before bank payment.
• Use Loan recovery when outstanding loan balances on the dashboard look wrong — confirm EMI actually posted on recent runs.

The Payroll Dashboard also shows estimated monthly payroll, active loans, pending payslips on the latest run, and pipeline counts (Draft/Calculated, Under Review, Approved, Posted).
