Scheduling in Biznsbook: An Overview

Labour Scheduling is Biznsbook's platform scheduling engine — not a restaurant-only add-on. Use it for kitchens, warehouses, shop floors, or any location where people work shifts.

It works with or without HR Management. When HR is licensed, leave and employee details upgrade automatically.

What you can do

  • Define positions, locations, and reusable shift templates
  • Build weekly schedules with drag-and-drop, conflict checks, and live hour / cost totals
  • Publish rosters, then print PDF or export Excel
  • Track attendance (manager entry, employee web clock-in, optional POS clock-in)
  • Handle swap and drop requests with manager approval
  • Let staff use My Schedule, My Attendance, and My Swaps
  • Post verified labour cost to Accounting, and route casual overtime to Expense when set up
  • Review analytics, labour budgets, and cross-module staffing tips
