Track Attendance and Timesheets
Attendance records actual hours against scheduled shifts. Verified, clocked-out records feed cost posting and overtime claims.
Ways to clock in and out
| Method | Where |
|---|---|
| Manager entry | Labour Scheduling → Attendance |
| Employee self-service | My Attendance (account menu) |
| POS | Cashier session open/close when POS clock-in is enabled in Settings |
Clock-in tries to match the person's scheduled shift within about two hours of the scheduled start. If the POS terminal has a Labour location, matching prefers shifts at that location first. No match becomes a walk-in with no linked shift.
Verify timesheets
- Go to Labour Scheduling → Timesheet (under Attendance).
- Work the unverified queue so nothing is missed.
- Verify before posting labour cost or generating overtime claims.
- Export timesheets to Excel from Attendance when needed.
Unverified attendance can also appear in the company Attention Center when Scheduling is licensed.
No-shows
If nobody clocks in within about 30 minutes of a scheduled start, the system flags a no-show and can alert managers. You can wire further follow-up with Automation.
Email delivery note
Schedule and swap emails use:
- HR employees — work email (or personal if no work email)
- Standalone employees — portal login email
No email still allows in-app notifications. Employees without a portal login link may not reach My Schedule / My Attendance / My Swaps.
