Use Scheduling with Restaurant and Manufacturing
Labour locations can link to Restaurant floor plans or Manufacturing workstations. That shared link powers staffing tips and coverage checks without exporting spreadsheets.
Restaurant staffing recommendations
When Restaurant is licensed and a schedule location links to a floor plan:
- Open the schedule Builder.
- Use the Staffing recommendations panel for suggested headcount per position (forecast covers when available, otherwise historical averages).
- Treat recommendations as advisory — they never assign people for you.
Labour metrics (actual labour cost, labour % of revenue, cost per cover) also appear on the Restaurant Performance dashboard when Scheduling is licensed.
Set covers-per-staff on positions under Set up positions, locations, and templates.

Manufacturing operator coverage
When a Labour location links to a manufacturing workstation:
- Release a work order as usual in Manufacturing.
- Biznsbook checks whether that workstation is adequately staffed for the planned start.
- A non-blocking gap alert appears if coverage is short — release still succeeds.
Configure required operators on the workstation, and link the Labour location to that workstation.

Create and run a work order

Point of sale
With POS clock-in enabled, cashier session open/close can clock attendance. Map each till to a Labour location on the POS terminal so multi-terminal stores attribute clock-ins correctly. The POS Z-report can include a labour summary beside sales totals.
