Compare and Promote Scenarios

Scenarios let you clone optimization parameters, try different budget or service-level assumptions, and promote a chosen set to live only after review.

Steps

1. Open Supply Chain Planning → Scenarios.
2. Create a named what-if from current parameters.
3. Adjust scenario parameters (targets, budget assumptions as supported).
4. Compare against live or another scenario.
5. Promote to live only after review — confirm if live data changed since the scenario was built (staleness warning).
6. Archive scenarios you no longer need.

:::warning Check staleness before promote If live forecasts or stock moved while you were modeling, promoting an old scenario can overwrite fresher targets. Review the staleness warning before you confirm. :::
