Manage Seasonality Profiles

Seasonality profiles are reusable sets of periodic indexes (for example 12 monthly factors) that lift or lower baseline demand for seasonal categories.

Steps

1. Open Supply Chain Planning → Seasonality Profiles.
2. Create a named profile with periodic indexes that match your planning calendar.
3. Use Suggest from history when you want indexes inferred from past demand instead of entering them by hand.
4. Assign the profile from the item forecast detail on the Forecasting Workbench, or edit the profile and manage membership as your process allows.
5. Deactivate profiles you no longer use rather than deleting history abruptly.

:::tip One profile per pattern Share a profile across items that truly share the same seasonal shape (for example summer beverages). Separate profiles when peaks fall in different months. :::
