Traceability Permissions and Troubleshooting

If a Traceability or SFCR menu is missing, or an export looks empty, it is usually licensing, a permission, or an item flag — not a failed posting. Administrators manage modules and roles under Settings → Users & roles.

Permissions, in plain language

FDA Food Traceability

PermissionWhat it unlocks
View traceabilityTrace Report, CTE timeline, CSV export, FDA ESS, Export Portal, Manual CTE entry
Manage traceability planCreate, edit, and version the written Traceability Plan; farm map upload/download

SFCR Canada

PermissionWhat it unlocks
View SFCR reportsSFCR Trace Report, CFIA ESS, CFIA Export Portal, Manual CTE entry
Manage SFCR planCreate, edit, and version the Preventive Control Plan; PCP document upload/download

Company Admins receive these when the matching module is licensed. Assign them to compliance staff as needed.
