Monitor Warehouse Capacity
Open Inventory Operations → Warehouse Capacity to see:
- Overall utilization for a chosen warehouse, or all of them
- Lists of locations that are overloaded, nearly full, or empty
- A searchable grid of locations with occupancy percentage, wherever capacity is configured
Use this to guide slotting decisions and avoid overfilling a bin.
:::tip Set capacity first Enter max capacity (units) on your storage locations (or map nodes) before relying on this dashboard — without it, most rows simply show as not configured. :::
Enforcement on put-away
Whether an over-capacity put-away is blocked or just flagged follows your company's picking enforcement setting in Inventory setup:
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Disabled | No enforcement — capacity is informational only |
| Soft warning | You can proceed, but you'll see a warning |
| Hard block | Put-away is prevented until capacity is available |
