Warehouse Permissions and Troubleshooting
Warehouse screens mostly use ordinary Inventory permissions; the visual map has its own separate set. Your administrator manages both under Settings → Users & roles.

Daily scenarios

Frequently asked questions
Why is the Warehouse menu missing? Both Inventory and Warehouse Management need to be enabled for your company, and your role needs at least View inventory.
Can I transfer stock to the same warehouse? Not with a stock transfer document — source and destination must differ. To move stock between bins within one warehouse, use the warehouse map's node transfer instead, which needs map transfer permission.
I approved a transfer by mistake. Use Cancel Transfer, either before or after shipping — after shipping, the remaining in-transit quantity returns to the source. If the goods were already received, use a stock adjustment or a reverse transfer, following your company's finance policy.
Does a transfer change an item's average cost? Receiving uses the item's current average cost for valuation. If your company applies different inter-branch pricing rules, check with finance.
Where's "Pending approval" on a transfer? Choose Submit when creating it — Save as draft keeps it as Draft. Either way, it still needs Approve & Ship before it actually leaves the source warehouse.
What does "Partially received" mean? Some line quantities have arrived at the destination; the rest is still in transit. Keep using Receive More until everything's accounted for.
Why does capacity show as "not set"? Enter a max capacity on your storage locations or map nodes — the dashboard can't calculate occupancy without it.
