WhatsApp in Biznsbook: An Overview
WhatsApp Channel lets your team share invoices, purchase documents, and rent or payment links over WhatsApp using your business number — either by opening a pre-filled chat on a staff device, or by sending approved templates through Meta’s Cloud API when connected.
What you can do
- Send via WhatsApp from sale invoices, purchase documents, and Real Estate payment / rent links (Click-to-Chat)
- Set a default country code so local phone numbers open correctly
- Connect Cloud API credentials for automated template messages
- Manage WhatsApp templates and mark them approved for automation
- Log every share attempt for audit (manual or API)
Two ways to send
| Mode | Best for | Meta account |
|---|---|---|
| Click-to-Chat | Staff opens WhatsApp with a ready message and taps Send | Not required |
| Cloud API | Automated reminders and workflow sends with approved templates | Required (WABA + token) |
Click-to-Chat is available today on Sales, Purchase, and Real Estate share surfaces. Cloud API template send, webhooks, opt-in / STOP, and the Automation Send WhatsApp action are available when credentials and templates are set up.
Before you start
| You'll need | Why |
|---|---|
| Party / contact mobile number | WhatsApp needs a reachable number on the record |
| Default country code | Set under Company Admin → WhatsApp Settings |
| WhatsApp or WhatsApp Web on the staff device | Required for Click-to-Chat |
| Meta WhatsApp Business Account (Cloud API) | Automated template sends |
Where settings live
Company WhatsApp options are under Company Admin → WhatsApp Settings (default country code, Click-to-Chat vs Cloud API, and API credentials). Templates for Cloud API live under Communication Center → WhatsApp Templates.
